Simon comes from Maidenhead in Berkshire and attended Bradfield College near Reading. He has appeared in local productions and was a member of the National Youth Theatre. In 2001, Simon was a finalist in the BBC Talent Competition.

He has been performing professionally for seven years.

His first performance was in the national tour of 'Naked Flame', playing the role of Blue. Fortunately for him, he gained his first West End credit straight after in 'Romeo And Juliet - The Musical' at the Piccadilly Theatre, playing a role in the ensemble, but also first understudy Mercutio and second understudy Romeo.

In June 2003, Simon performed a fantastic set of songs for Stagestar's Cabaret at the Villiers, alongside musical theatre performers Peter Eldridge, Damien Flood and Douglas Irvine.

Simon performed straight after in the 'Rock Legends' world tour, where he played Ringo Starr in The Beatles, and understudied Freddie Mercury, a part he played many times.

Simon was delighted to come back in the West End and join the cast of 'Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' at the New London Theatre as Pharaoh. Simon also played the part of Simeon, one of Joseph's brothers. In addition, Simon recently worked on a new project with the BBC called 'Jamie Kane', an interactive game designed for the internet in which he plays a rock star, whose beta test was launched in May 2005 and final version late July 2005.

Simon performed in the West End Christmas Celebration Concert on the 27th November 2004. The company of 'Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' performed 'Joy To The World', in which he soloed.

Simon went straight from 'Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' at the New London theatre to 'We Will Rock You' at the Dominion theatre where he played a part in the ensemble. While in 'We Will Rock You' he also understudied the leading roles of Galileo and Britney, both parts he played many times.

He then moved on to 'Les Misérables' where he played the role of student leader Enjolras.

Simon then became a member of Teatro, 'theatreland's first supergroup'. They achieved their gold album and had the honour of performing for Her Majesty The Queen at the Royal Variety Performance in December 2007. They have also appeared on GMTV, The Morning and The Paul O'Grady Show to name a few. Teatro have travelled worldwide to appear on numerous TV shows. In concert they have appeared in Egypt and Dubai, at the world's 1st 7-star hotel, the Burj Al Arab. Teatro have just launched internationally, beginning in South Africa, and rose to Number 1 in the album chart with weeks of release.

Summer 2008 saw Simon performing in the workshop of 'Jason And The Argonauts', in which he played the lead. He then went on to star in the world premier of 'Once Upon A Time At The Adelphi', at the Playhouse Theatre in Liverpool, where he played and created the role of Thompson.

Simon is currently starring in 'The Phantom Of The Opera', playing the role of Raoul.
